Celebration Books

The Celebration Books program gives students and their families an opportunity to honor someone or celebrate a special event while donating books to support the Media Center.

Consider donating a book...

...to celebrate a child's birthday
...to celebrate a grandparent's birthday or anniversary
...to honor a current or former student, teacher, or staff member
...to honor someone on Veteran's Day or Memorial Day
...in memory of a loved one
...to celebrate a 5th grader's graduation

Here's how it works:

1. Print this page and complete the Celebration Books Form at the bottom.
   
   
2. Return the form with cash or a check for $10.00 per book (payable to Fred Olds Media Center) in your child's Tuesday folder or in an envelope to the teacher marked Celebration Books. NOTE: All donations to the program are tax deductible.
   
   
3. Your child will be invited to choose a book to donate from new book arrivals at the Media Center.
   
   
4. Your child will have their picture placed on the Celebration Books bulletin board inside the library and a book plate will be placed inside the book to recognizing your child and the honoree or event.
   
   
5. Your child will be the first person allowed to check out the new book.
