Become a Shelf Angel
Shelf Angels adopt a small area of the library, keeping it neat and organized. You can work any time the school is open, 7am-6pm. Plan to spend 20-30 minutes a week but don't worry, the books will wait for you!
Can you commit 45-60 minutes a week?
Come work the circulation desk
Learn to check books in & out. Return books to their shelves. Help students pick out Accelerated Reader prizes. Learn other tasks as needed. While this is appreciated any time from 8am-4pm, we especially need help at 8:15-9am and 2:30-3:15pm.
Want to help with library programs & special events?
Attend Friends of the Library (FOL) Meetings!
The Friends of the Library help organize several events
each year such as author visits, Children's Book Week and the Scholastic Book
Fair. They also sponsor ongoing programs like Celebration Books and
Accelerated Reader. You may choose to head up one event or lend a hand with several.
There is typically one planning meeting a month at 8:35am.
