Events
Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is fun evening of food, games and entertainment for the entire family.
The Scholastic Book Fair generally starts the same evening, allowing parents plenty of
time to browse.
Event Security
Parent volunteers wear bright "security" t-shirts and carry 2-way radios as they mill around
large events like Fall Festival and Spring Fling. The purpose is to be a visual deterrent
to anyone who may not have business on our campus, and to have a means of getting assistance
or attention if something unusual occurs. Thankfully, we've never had any issues arise.
Kids Vote Work a 1-2 hour shift at our local polling station (across from Olds at
Forest Hills Baptist Church) helping kids cast their vote.
Student Performances Help with scenery, costumes, programs etc. Usually 3 per year,
each working with 2 grades.
Spirit Week Plan and promote daily themes/activities for students, organize the Friday
pep rally, including arranging for Mr. and/or Mrs. Wolf and the NCSU cheerleaders!
Grandparents & Special Friends Day
Invite someone special to a pre-Thanksgiving lunch at school and make a memory!
Spring Fling & Silent Auction
Let the children play while you bid at the Silent Auction! On this evening we mix
food, games and entertainment with one of our major fund raisers.
Field Day
An active day where students show us some of the fun things they have learned with Coach!
