Every Penny Counts!

It may not sound like much when we ask you to earn a dime here and a small percentage there but when everyone participates these programs add up to hundreds of dollars for our school (over $2300 in 2006-2007). We aren't asking you to change your shopping habits, just take a little time to help us achieve our many goals.

Please participate - a few seconds of your time will make a difference!

We All Eat

A quick stop at Customer Service and you are helping all year long!

Harris Teeter: ($757 for 06-07)

Please relink your VIC card each August. A percentage of store brand purchases will be donated to the school. Our school number is 1072. Stop by Customer Service or relink online: Together in Education

Food Lion: ($157 for 06-07)

Please relink your MVP card each August. 1/2% of all your purchases will be donated to Olds. Stop by Customer Service or relink online: Shop and Share

Kroger: (over 22,000 points for 06-07)

Please relink your Kroger Plus card each August and we will earn one point for each dollar spent. Points are redeemable for educational materials.

When You Finish Eating

Check your empty food containers for free money! Clip the symbols and send them into your child's classroom - every teacher has a collection box.

General Mills Box Tops for Education: ($947 for 06-07)

They aren't just on cereal - these pink symbols are also found on Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Progresso, Yoplait, Old El Paso and Ziploc products. Learn more at www.boxtops4education.com.

Campbell's Label for Education:

Just like Box Tops, these are showing up on more products such as Pepperidge Farms, Prego, Swanson and Pace.Learn more at www.labelsforeducation.com.

Harris Teeter Milk Challenge:

Save and bring in rinsed milk caps from Harris Teeter and Hunter Farms Brand 1/2 gallon or gallon milk containers. Each milk cap is worth $.05. Learn more at www.harristeeter.com

Recycling

Help the school and the environment at the same time!

We collect inkjet printer cartridges ($529 for 06-07) and cell phones ($19 for 06-07) for recycling. Just drop them into the collection box in the front office. If your employer does not have a recycling program please consider starting one! We will be glad to help you with signs and a donation box.

Target - Take Charge of Education:

Once enrolled, 1% of your REDcard purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of Target® Visa® purchases elsewhere are donated to the school of your choice. Our number is 81089.

Log onto www.boxtops4education.com and register. You can access coupons, recipes and the marketplace, where you can shop online at stores like Gap, Lands' End, Kohl's, Best Buy, Harry and David, OfficeMax, Old Navy, PetSmart, etc., and a percentage of your purchases comes back to Olds.
