Fundraising
Fall Fundraiser
Our most important fund raiser of the year accounts for 50% of the entire PTA budget!
Catalogs are sent home almost as soon as school starts so we can have items back for holiday gift-giving and have a good feel for our yearly budget constraints.
Original Art
Each student creates a work of art that is then made available on magnets, t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc.
What Grandma doesn't want this unique gift? Order forms are sent out early to assure delivery before Winter Break.
Scholastic Book Fair
Held in the fall, these funds are dedicated to improving our media center and reading programs. We also encourage you
to help with our teachers' wish lists and/or provide a gift certificate to one of our needier students.
School Photos
Many people consider the fall & spring school photography sessions to be a service but they are also a major fund raiser.
The PTA receives a significant percentage of the proceeds.
Yard Sale
Held the first Saturday in March, the yard sale provides an opportunity to turn your unused items into cash for the school.
Drop off your donations on Friday then come back to shop on Saturday. Start putting aside your useful but unwanted items now!
Silent Auction
Held in conjunction with Spring Fling this is our primary spring fund raiser.
Can you or your business donate an item for the auction? Gift certificates, tickets to local events, crafts, toys and
sports equipment are all enjoyed. Come out to bid on those items or ice cream with your teacher.
Spring Fling
While the Silent Auction (above) is the main money maker at the Spring Fling, we sometimes charge for other activities or hold
a bake sale at the event. Last year, Usbourne Books set up a display benefitting our Media Center.
Celebration Books
An ongoing option with the Media Center, Celebration Books lets
you dedicate a new library book in honor of the special people in your life.
Free Money
Please remember to relink your grocery cards and participate in our
other Free Money Programs.
T-Shirts
A great way to show your school spirit. Usually sold during major events, but always available if you just ask.
Other Programs
At times you may see other fundraising information such as the Quail Ridge In-Store Book Fair or the 2005 Tsunami Relief effort.
As these opportunities arise we evaluate the programs and make a decision on whether to make it available.
Do you have an idea for different fund raiser? Please contact the PTA president!
